B. SPEECH TEAM MEMBER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

· I agree to participate in performances and contests presented in the ROHS Speech Handbook.
· I agree to rehearse with Mrs. Horn or Ms. Reeve at least four times per event prior to Districts (as stated in the ROHS Speech Handbook) and I understand that if I do not, I will not be registered for the District Contest.
· I understand that the school will pay my entry fees. I further understand that if I fail to participate in a contest AFTER my registration has been sent, I must reimburse the school in full.
· I have read and understand the policies spelled out in the school’s “Code of Conduct.” I understand that if I fail to comply with these policies, I may be suspended from participation in the 2011-2012 contest season.
· In signing this contract, I adhere strictly to the expectations and rules set forth for this activity. I understand that if this contract or the guidelines of the ROHS Speech Team are violated, disciplinary action will be taken.
