Red Oak had 16 students who competed in 24 events in Nevada. They did an phenomenal job and I am so very proud of each of them.
Receiving straight ones (all three judges gave them the highest score of a one):

• NyLea Pafford in both storytelling and lit program
• Kathryn Rooker in both prose and lit program
• Maggie Bennett in both lit program and public address
• Laura Butz in solo musical theatre
• Angelica Cerda in acting
• Donnie Torbett in solo musical theatre
• Leatha Bennett in prose
Receiving an overall one rating (two judges gave them a one and one judge gave them a two):
• Angelica Cerda in storytelling
• Ellen Fellers in after dinner
• Jessa Davis in poetry
Receiving an overall two rating (two judges gave them a two and one judge gave them a one):
• Bevin Griffen in solo musical theatre
• DJ Reich in original oratory
• Geoff Sellers in improv
• Ellen Fellers in prose
• Travis Schon in prose
Receiving straight twos:
• Jeannie Kort in expository address
• Geoff Sellers in acting
• Nick Black in review
They are such an amazing group of students and it's been an honor to work with each of them. We had an amazing senior group this year - in both large group and individual. They will definitely be missed next year. Several of those seniors I have worked with in both the fall play and speech for four years, and that always makes it tough to say goodbye to them. I could not be prouder of all of these students.
