Large Group State Schedule

I was going to post this after the kids got their papers on Monday from me....but Mother Nature has other plans!!! Here's the information I had ready for all the kids:

Large Group State Speech 2011
West Des Moines Valley High School

Note to parents and students:
* We will be leaving from the high school at 7:30 am. This will ensure we get to Valley early enough to check in, find rooms/centers, and check if there were any drops.
* State Speech T-shirts will be available for purchase (not sure how much they are – usually they are $10-$15 and I’m not sure what the designs will be)
* There will also be a photo opportunity ($15)…I have order forms if you are interested
* For parents attending, please be aware of the suggested $3 donation to help defray the costs of the contest
* Attached is the schedule for the ROHS students attending State. Contests can run earlier, so if you are attending, please don’t rely only on the time listed.
* There will be a limited number of programs available at a cost if you are interested – they will be in the lobby (they’ll be $5) – I will also have extras of our kids’ schedule times (for free ☺)
* NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE GYM, HALLWAYS, OR PERFORMANCE ROOMS. (Valley’s caps/emphasis ☺)
* The emergency phone number at the school is: 515-633-4222. I will also have my cell phone – that number is 712-309-1058.
* Ratings will be posted outside the library
* There will be concessions available all day – plus they have a coffee shop if you crave caffeine ☺
* Please show your support by watching your teammates perform!!
